In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and his companions.
As to what follows:
In response to your question, we say, and with Allah Almighty lies all success:
As for preventing [from the completeness of] wudhu’, then it does not prevent from that. But I personally dislike putting that [crystal in the tooth], as I have been informed that this is what the transgressing women of the disbelievers do. So if this is the case, then it is impermissible to do so, due to it coming under resembling the disbelievers and disobedient ones. Moreover, there are other ample options for beautification purposes.
I have also been informed by an orthodontist that these stick-ons (crystal additions) have a negative side-effect caused by the gathering of food particles around them, which in turn cause tooth decay (pollution).
