Praise be to Allah, and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and his companions. Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. As to what follows: In response to your question, we say: We say to her, “There is no problem, and whenever you are able you should fast the days that are due from you.” Allah the Exalted says, “but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other day” [al-Baqarah2:184] This concerns a compulsory fast and the fast for making up missed days also follows the same ruling .If she cannot fast at a particular time then she can fast when she is able to do so. Her pregnancy may extend until Ramadan, and as a result she will not be able to fast and make up for the missed days of the previous Ramadan. There is no problem, she may fast after next Ramadan, and there is nothing due from her except fasting only. She should not feed the poor people for the missed days in Ramadan even in the opinion of those who say that if she delays fasting her days to make up for missed fasts until the next Ramadan then she should feed the poor. This concerns a delay for no reason .However this woman delayed because of a valid reason. She is not required to expiate whatever time has passed after Ramadan like the month of Shawwaal, Thul Qa’dah and Thul Hijjah because making up missed days is an obligation which can be performed over a broad range of time. There is no restriction for her in making up missed fasts, and she is not required to make up the fasts at the earliest time. She is excused for the condition that befell her and extended to Ramadan.
