Does this anesthetic break fasting or not? Is it permissible for diabetic people to take the insulin injection before Maghrib? As to what follows: In response to your question, we say: Inhalers, anesthetics and insulin injections do not break fasting according to the most correct opinion from the two opinions of the scholars on the issue. This applies regardless of whether a person uses them out of necessity or not, because they are not food or drink or similar to them, Thus there is no basis for the nullification of fasting through these things.
