Praise be to Allah, and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and his companions. Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. As to what follows: In response to your question, we say: Yes, it is compulsory for you to make up for that month before the next Ramadan. However, it is not compulsory for you to fast consecutively. You can fast every other day, or fast two days or more at a time until you finishing fasting the days of that month. And Allah knows best.
