Our mosque uses donated incense but after use the incense it is thrown away and pieces that can be used are left. Is it permissible or not for me to take these pieces for personal use?

Our mosque uses donated incense but after use the incense it is thrown away and pieces that can be used are left. Is it permissible or not for me to take these pieces for personal use?

Praise be to Allah, and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and his companions.
To proceed:
It is not permissible for the mosque’s committee to throw away the beneficial things that remain from what was endowed to the mosque. If they do that then it is obligatory to return it to them or to take it to another mosque. However I do not think that it is permissible to take the pieces for your own personal use.
