What is the ruling on hanging chapters of the Quran in houses for the purpose of seeking blessings? حكم تعليق سور القرآن في البيت للبركة؟

Praise be to Allah, and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and his companions.
As to what follows:
With regards to answering your question we say, success is by Allah Almighty.
It is not permissible to hang verses or chapters of the Quran for reason of seeking blessings, not only that but it falls under innovations. It can also be included among amulets that are prohibited if what is intended is protection because of it falling under the same category as what is hanged on children and animals for repelling of evil or removing it, and by this it will be from among ways of shirk and reasons that lead to it as Ahmad, Abu Dawud and others have narrated from the hadith  of Ibn Mas’ud that:
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: spells, charms and love-potions are polytheism.
But they are hanged for the purpose of learning from them or looking at them then it is from actions that were not done by the 1st three generations:
All the best is found from following the salaf (pious predecessors)
and the worst of all is found in the innovations of the later generations.
