الجواب
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and his companions.
To proceed:
There is a scholarly consensus on the impermissibility of slaughtering a sacrificial animal before dawn. There is no difference among the scholars in this regard. This is evidenced by a hadith transmitted by Bukhari (5500) and Muslim (1960) on the authority of Jundub Ibn Sufyan al-Bajali who said that: “Once during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (peace be on him) we offered some animals as sacrifices. Some people slaughtered their sacrifices before the (Eid) prayer, so when the Prophet (peace be on him) finished his prayer, he saw that they had slaughtered their sacrifices before the prayer. He said, “Whoever has slaughtered (his sacrifice) before the prayer, should slaughter (another sacrifice) in its place.” A similar narration was reported on the authority of Anas and Baraa’ Ibn ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with both of them).
May Allah reward you.
