My friend and I exchange gifts whether there is an occasion or not, now that she has become my boss at work, should I continue presenting her with gifts as we have been doing before? Is it permissible for her to accept the gifts when she is my boss at work? May Allah reward you.

To proceed:

Yes it is permissible to exchange gifts between the two of you because the reason of these gifts is friendship. However, it is not permissible to exchange gifts if the reason for that is work related.
