Praise be to Allah, and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and his companions.
Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
As to what follows:
Majority of jurists from the Hanafi, Shafi and Hanbali schools of thought are of the opinion that it is prohibited to enter the toilet with the Quran except for necessity. Jurists from the Maliki school of thought said it is detested. A group from among the scholars said it is permissible, but one gets sin for carrying it in the state of impurity if there is no need to do that.
What appears to me is that if there is no necessity for entering the toilet with it such as fear of it being stolen, getting lost or misused then it should not be entered with.
